Paripuma is a large 20 year old garden developed from a barren, windswept beachfront; and  based around a formal design and vista across Cloudy Bay.

The emphasis recently has been on creating a habitat for wildlife in this NZ native planting and, in addition, a separate new perennial garden has been created, which in 2020 won a National Award as an outstanding habitat for butterflies.

Paripuma is suitable as a venue for weddings.
