This spring, the New Zealand Gardens Trust invites you on a rare journey into the Wairarapa’s most beautiful private gardens. Two luxury coaches will depart Wellington, carrying guests through rolling countryside to a handpicked collection of horticultural gems.
From sculpted borders to wildflower meadows, each garden offers not just beauty, but the chance to meet the owners and designers who bring them to life. Morning tea in a gracious country setting, a long-table lunch among blooms, and the gentle hum of conversation complete the day. Along the way, guests can purchase plants, a glass of wine, or unique garden finds.

Tickets are available to the general public over the age of 13. There is a discount for Members, Assessors and Friends of the NZ Gardens Trust.

The bus leaves from a bus stop outside Wellington railway station so it would be best to stay somewhere in the city centre.
