Queenstown

Queenstown is the highlight for many travellers. Based in the spectacular alpine region, it is the adventure capital of New Zealand. Queenstown sits on the shores of Lake Wakatipu surrounded by the Remarkables all of which can be enjoyed with a relaxing scenic lake trip on TSS Earnslaw or viewed from Bob's Peak after ascending the Skyline Gondola. A short drive away is the historic living settlement of Arrowtown. With something for everyone you will not leave this region disappointed.

Adrenalin rush - Queenstown is the adventure capital of New Zealand. Visitors can choose to bungy, jet boat, white water raft, canyon swing, river surf and more.

Ski, snow & ice - Four ski fields are within easy reach of Queenstown for the avid skiers and snow boarders. Visitors can also try their hand a snow shoeing and ice skating.

Wine experiences - Queenstown and Gibbston Valley are adorned with around 75 wineries with Pinot Noir being a Kiwi favourite.

Family fun & entertainement - cinemas, playgorunds, swimming pools, luge and lake excursions are amongst some fo the family activiteis available

Nature & eco-tourism - explore the back country on an eco tour or experience local waterways, guided walks, bird watching and more.

Lake & river - leisurely crusies such as the famous TSS Earnslaw to adrenalin pumped jet boat rides and rafting.
