List a Garden

List a garden

The New Zealand Gardens Trust is an organisation of garden owners, whose gardens are open to the public and having been assessed by the Assessors of the Trust, meet the required standard of consistently exhibiting creatively inspired design, planting expertise and good maintenance. Listing your garden entitles you to all the benefits of the membership including conference attendance, website listing and newsletters. You can also list any garden events, workshops or walks that are happening on the event section of the website. Gardens are assessed annually with registrations closing at the end of July each year. Complete your garden details below and we will be in touch with you.

Associate membership

This category of membership provides an opportunity for those who do not have a garden open to the public to be part of the New Zealand Gardens Trust and enjoy the benefits of being associated with the activities of our organisation. Associate members are welcome to attend any conferences, workshops or other events. They will also receive the New Zealand Gardens Trust quarterly newsletters which are distributed electronically.

If you wish to make an enquiry about listing your garden or becoming an associate member please complete the details below and our administrator will get back to you.

NZGT Foundng Gardens

NZGT Gardens Trust was established in 2003 through the generosity of our ‘Founding Gardens’. These Founding Gardens each donated NZ$2000, which enabled us to undertake our first round of garden assessments, to commission a website, and to hold our inaugural seminar.

For this NZGT and gardening fraternity is indebted.  Click here to view the list of our Founding Gardens.
